Born in Vitória de Santo Antão, Pernambuco, began his digital art practice at the age
of 15 in cybercafés, shaped by limited and intermittent access to technology.
Before working in the creative field, he worked in construction, an experience that
informs his practice by engaging with labor, survival and image. His work develops
from these memories, connecting peripheral lived experiences with digital environments.
Now based in São Paulo, he develops work focused on webpunk and digital collage,
approaching a “visual fast food” aesthetic marked by excess, speed and accumulation
of information. His practice investigates the circulation of images on the internet and their
relation to social context, access and the formation of visual repertoire.
Eric Meier is a digital artist and co-founder of INDEP - the International Network for
Democratic Economic Planning. His artistic work revolves around utopian political
aesthetics and their inherent questions, as well as the connection of the political
and the existential in our strange times. He regularly participates in exhibitions.

“A Página do Sérgio” was a comedy project created by J.P. Antunes
(Portuguese multifaceted artist and music journalist) which lasted from late
2022 to early 2024, mostly coinciding with the time they lived in the city of
Coimbra.
With a primary presence on Instagram, the project revolved around a
character called Sérgio and his life, through ten-slide presentations with a fairly
pragmatic design. Sérgio’s posts grabbed banal concepts and squeezed them to
bizarre levels, but always containing true information, pushing the power of
assimilation to its absolute limit.
With very formulaic yet extremely unpredictable
and bizarre memes, “A Página do Sérgio” has mixtures of narrative, dead pan jokes,
references to Portuguese cultural identity and fourth-wall breaks that became
increasingly noticeable as the project progressed.
